About the Instructor:
Mia, a fiber artist, has been needle-felting children’s toys, Montessori and Waldorf inspired educational materials, ornaments, and decorations for more than eight years. She taught various craft classes to children at the Peekaboo Children’s Center, an eco-friendly indoor playground, formerly located in Westbrook. Mia lives in Portland, with her husband and an eleven-year old son who loves needle-felting ice cream and sunny-side eggs. Samples of Mia’s work can be found at http://www.fuzzylovies.com.
