Blue: Combed Corriedale

A medium grade wool from New Zealand, this Corriedale is great for felting and spinning.  This wool is carded and combed, which makes for a smooth sliver, with fibers running parallel to one another.  You can spin a worsted or semi-worsted yarn from the sliver as is or spin it from the fold (or card into rolags) for a more woolen yarn.  Felters enjoy this fiber for needle felting.
