Saturday, September 13th, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
In this class, we will be creating life like mussel shell ornaments in felted wool. The class will cover the basics of needle felting in two stages: sculpting a 3D shape and color application using a felting needle. Students will add final touches by hand-sewing sparkly embellishments.
No experience is necessary. All materials and felting tools for the class will be provided. Ages 16 and up.
Michelle is a product designer living and working in Maine's Midcoast region. She holds a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and has worked for several well-known brands including Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, and West Elm. In 2017 Michelle launched Thirdlee & Co. as a home for her newly created needle-felted designs. Thirdlee handcrafted ornaments are recognized for their sophisticated treatment of seaside themes and attention to detail. Each piece is unique and hand crafted in her home studio.
Class Cancelation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class. Cancelation with 30 days or less notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class.
If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
