Saturday, October 5th - 1:00pm to 5:00pm
This class is for anyone who is curious to try tablet weaving on an inkle loom. Tablet weaving utilizes weaving cards that are turned in certain ways to create warp-faced bands for trim, straps, belts, and the like. We will cover how to read beautiful patterns, warp, and weave on the loom. We will go over how to secure the start and end of bands especially for bookmarks and other small projects.
No experience required.
Students will need to either bring or rent an inkle loom. Loom rentals are $21/week. Weaving materials are included in the class - a set of Schacht weaving cards + yarn for warp and weft.
Please bring note-taking supplies.
Class Cancelation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class. Cancelation with less than 30 days notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class.
If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
