Mauna Hat Kit

The Mauna Hat, designed by Leila Raven, features sport weight Cashmere People Yarns cashgora in two contrasting colors.  This hat kit includes two skeins of yarn, a printed pattern, and a goat stitch marker.  Leave your Ravelry name in the notes at checkout (or be sure to enter your email) to receive a digital copy of the pattern as well.

With over 30 colors of sport weight cashgora to choose from, there are hundreds of two-color combinations.  I chose just a few for the kits.  If you'd like to go "off book" and create your own combo, you can select "pattern only" from the Colorway drop-down and then go shop the sport weight cashgora HERE.

Mauna means mountain in Hawaiian.  Given that the cashgora goats that this yarn is made from live in the Himalayas of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, it seems a fitting match all around.

This pattern is a part of a collaboration between Leila Raven and Françoise Danoy called Aroha Aloha.  There is enough yarn in this kit to knit Mauna AND Françoise's hat pattern Koru, too!
