In this beginner class, you will learn how to warp and weave on a rigid heddle loom while exploring how colors play with one another within a large, plaid motif. Sero silk yarn is available for pre-order and Casey will reach out with available colors.
We will begin setting up the looms on Saturday and start hemstitching and weaving on Sunday. You will be instructed on how to finish your weaving at home.
Cost is $170 and includes a week of loom rental. You may choose to rent for a longer period of time if you'd like ($21/week). If you have your own rigid heddle loom, please bring a 12 dent reed along with your loom and accompanying equipment. Cost is then $149.
Materials cost for three colors of Gist Sero silk yarn is $72.

Sample 2: Lychee, Chartreuse, and Aloe
You are also welcome to bring your own yarn - fingering weight in three colors. You'll need 465 yards of each color.
