Learn to create beautiful, patterned colors on silk scarves using four different Japanese shibori techniques, either singly or in combination with each other. Techniques include fold and clamp, stitching, binding, and pole wrapping. We will be dyeing with Greener Shades acid dyes.
Cost is $130 and includes two habotai silk scarves (11" x 60") and one habotai silk square (29" x 29"). Additional silk scarves may be purchased for $13 to $16.
Please bring an apron (or wear clothes you don't mind getting dye on), a notebook, and a snack or lunch if you'd like.
Class Cancelation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class. Cancelation with less than 30 days notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class.
If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
