Learn to crochet a granny square and you can make anything: a sweater, a hat for your cat, a bunting, holiday ornaments, a bag. The possibilities are endless. It’s portable and relaxing and a great way to use up scraps. For this one day class, we will learn the basics of how to make the granny square and after that you can take on the crochet world!
Please Bring:
- One Crochet hook size H (8/5mm), I (9/5.5mm), or J (10/6mm)
- Two different colors of worsted weight yarn
- Scissors
- Large eye tapestry needle
- Note-taking materials
- A lunch or snack
Instructor Bio:
I think I started hand stitching when I was about five and really haven’t stopped since. I studied Stitched Textiles at the Opus School of Textile Arts in London and later earned a BFA in Painting/Drawing from Maine College of Art and Design. I love hand stitching clothing and quilts and teaching others to do the same. I have taught classes on this subject online, locally, and overseas. You can see my work on Instagram @maggiemuth
Class Cancelation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class. Cancelation with 30 days or less notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class.
If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
