1.29.22 Felted Polar Bear with Mia Waisman
Saturday, January 29th - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Don’t mind the freezing weather outside because we will be cozily sipping warm tea and felting polar bears. In this class, Mia will show you step-by-step the process of needle-felting. Techniques for sculpting animals include forming basic shapes, attaching various parts, detailing and smoothing surfaces, and building density to ensure high quality work.
Needle felting is fun, engaging, and therapeutic. As your wooly friend comes to life, you’ll enjoy conversation with other students and will have an opportunity to ask Mia questions about your current felting projects, techniques, materials, or anything wool-related.
Class size is limited to 10 students. Children ages 8 and up and adults are welcome.
Cost is $45 and includes wool materials and use of a shop foam block and felting needle. If you have felting tools, feel free to bring those with you.
