With felting, the sky really is the limit! In this fun class you will learn how to make a needle felted gnome using a pipe cleaner, wool roving, a felting needle and your own two hands! These are the techniques used to create the gnomes featured in the book The Gnome Project: One Woman’s Wild and Woolly Adventure, Jessica's recently published book. Each creation is unique so no two gnomes are ever alike and you may find yourself quite addicted to felting!
Cost is $65 and includes all materials and use of shop foam pads and felting needles. If you have your own foam pad and felting needle(s), feel free to bring those with you.
here will be a book signing for those interested after the class. The following is an excerpt of the description on W.W. Norton’s website:
"Lavishly decorated with photos of each charming creation, The Gnome Project is the surprising and magical story of what happens when we commit to something small. (Hint: It's something very big, as in making life more meaningful.) Here is her inspirational tale, complete with gnome-making instructions. "
